Top 4 Recipes for Sugar-Free Cookies this Christmas

One thing I love about the run-up to Christmas is the lovely smell of cookies in the kitchen. It’s the perfect excuse to get my kids together to do a spot of baking! My daughter is really interested in healthy eating so we thought we would explore the best of sugar-free baking! Perfect for anyone with diabetes … or simply trying to cut out the extra sugar in their lives.

Here’s our Top 4 Sugar-Free Cookies to try this Christmas:

1. Sugar Cookies (without the sugar of course)

It this possible, you ask? Ricki Heller debates the right name for her Agave Cookies ... and decides that refrigerating your dough before cutting it out is the best way to get the clean shape you’re looking for.

We loved giving this a go ... and used a rolling pin from our friends at Baking Time Club to add an extra creative touch.

2. Pumpkin Snickerdoodles

As an American, I can't get through the festive season without a bit of pumpkin! And these snickerdoodles from Whole New Mom combine all the spices I love! And they’re gluten-free to boot …

3. Sugar-free Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Truffles

While we’re on American flavours … I can’t resist a bit of peanut butter and chocolate. My secret go-to treat. I’m so excited that we can enjoy a sugar free option.

4. Healthy Gingerbread Cookies

Ginger is a lovely flavour throughout the year. That warming smell is brilliant for bringing the family together. And if you can make them sugar free and healthy, then all the better!
