These type 1 diabetes wristbands are a simple and effective way to communicate that you have Type 1 Diabetes to help ensure you get better care in an emergency. Flexible and washable, these type 1 diabetes wristbands are perfect for sports, running or school.

• Adult size (approx. 8 inches, or 202mm), or pre-teen size (approx. 7 inches, or 180mm)
• Approx. 0.5 inch wide (12mm)
• 100% Silicone. Latex free.

Sizing tips - This wristband is available in two sizes: 

Adult - approx. 202 mm or 8 inches - ideal for someone who measures up to 215 mm around the widest part of their hand. Would probably suit an adult (approx. age 14+), although it is not appropriate if you have large hands.

Pre-teen - approx. 180 mm or 7 inches - ideal for someone who measures up to 190 mm around the widest part of their hand. Would probably suit an older child (approx. age 8-13), or an adult with very slim hands and wrists.

The most important factor in choosing the right size is the measurement around the widest part of your hand - as it needs to slip on and off over your hand. Although there is a little bit of stretch in the band, if you pull or tug on it too hard, or stretch it too far over your hand, it could break. 

Taking care - Please take care when taking your wristband on and off. To keep your bracelet looking its best, just wash it gently with water, and dry with a soft cloth. Please keep in mind that silicone is a soft material, so it won't last as long as a metal bracelet.
