This black silicone ICE wristband has "ICE" (In Case of Emergency) in white on the outside, so first responders know to look inside. We laser engrave your emergency contact details on the inside of the band, where they stay private. It's ideal if you'd like emergency ID without a medical condition, or if you prefer ICE on the outside instead of a medical symbol. Made from 100% latex-free silicone, it's soft, comfortable and washable – great for sport, school or travel.
Keep it short: there's no colour difference on the inside, so the engraving is a subtle black-on-black. Short wording works best – that way we can engrave it in larger text on one line, which makes it easier to read. A name and phone number works well. If you'd like lettering that stands out more, take a look at our Confidential wristband, which has a white inside with dark lettering.
Engraving
Outside: ICE (included).
Inside: laser engraved with your wording. Type it in the box. We'll fit it on one line in larger text wherever we can; if it's longer, we'll use two smaller lines, or a second position on the band. As a guide: approx. one line of 20 characters, or two lines of approx. 30 characters each.
We centre the text and use capital letters where you enter them. Writing in another language? Text you can type on a standard keyboard can go straight in the box. For other scripts or special accents, send us a high-quality JPEG or PNG and we'll engrave it as an image. If we have any questions about your engraving, we'll get in touch by email.
Need more space?
Add our write-on wallet cards (pack of 3) when you order. A wallet card holds more emergency contacts and details than fit on a wristband, and first responders may check a wallet or purse.
Size
Approx. 202mm (8 inches) – average adults (14+); fits over a hand up to approx. 215mm around.
The wristband has to slide over your hand, so please measure around the widest part of your hand (not your wrist). It stretches a little, but pulling it too hard could make it snap.
Buy more and save
Choose a set of 2 or 3 identical wristbands to save – handy for spares, or one for the sports bag and one for every day.
Care
Gently clean with water and dry with a soft cloth. Silicone is a soft material, so it won't last as long as a metal bracelet. To make your wristband last longer, avoid wearing it in bed or in the shower.
