Bracelet Size Guide: How to Measure Your Wrist & Choose the Perfect Fit

Finding the right bracelet size is simple. A well-fitted bracelet should feel comfortable, allow some movement, and sit naturally on your wrist.

Follow our easy guide below to measure your wrist and choose the best size for your bracelet.

If you’re unsure between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

How to Measure Your Wrist

You’ll need:

    • A soft tape measure, piece of string, or strip of paper
    • A ruler (if using string or paper)
Step 1: Measure Your Wrist

Wrap the tape measure, string, or paper around your wrist where you would normally wear your bracelet.

    1. Keep it comfortable — snug enough to sit in place, but not tight.
    2. Mark where the ends meet.
    3. Measure the length against a ruler.
    4. Use your measurement to choose your bracelet size from the guide below.

For the most accurate fit, measure the wrist you plan to wear your bracelet on.

Bracelet Size Chart

Choose a bracelet size that allows a little extra room for comfort and movement. Our guide below shows the recommended bracelet size based on your wrist measurement.

Wrist Measurement Recommended Bracelet Size
5.5 inches (14 cm) 6 inches (15 cm)
6 inches (15 cm) 6.5 inches (16.5 cm)
6.5 inches (16.5 cm) 7 inches (18 cm)
7 inches (18 cm) 7.5 inches (19 cm)
7.5 inches (19 cm) 8 inches (20.5 cm)
8 inches (20.5 cm) 8.5 inches (21.5 cm)

If your wrist measurement falls between sizes, we suggest choosing the next size up.

What Is the Best Bracelet Fit?

The ideal fit depends on your personal preference, but most people prefer a bracelet that:

    • Moves slightly on the wrist
    • Allows enough room for comfortable movement
    • Does not feel tight when your wrist bends

A closer fit gives a more fitted look, while a slightly looser fit allows more movement.

Why Your Bracelet May Look Longer When Measured Flat

Bracelets are designed to fit around the curve of your wrist, so their size is measured around the inside of the bracelet when worn.

Bracelet Size Guide

The size of your bracelet is determined by the inside measurement when worn, not by how long it appears when laid flat.

Do Chunkier Bracelets Need Extra Room?

Chunkier or wider bracelets can feel slightly different to wear because they cover more of your wrist.

If you are choosing a wider bracelet and you are between sizes, we recommend selecting the larger size for additional comfort.
